Frequently Asked Questions & Answers...
How are PV modules fitted?
Photovoltaic modules can be mounted on a roof or on the ground. Ideally the roof will be facing south, at a angle of 30 degrees with the horizontal for the best performance. The modules produce Direct Current (DC) electricity, so a small inverter will be fitted inside the house, to change the DC into Alternating Current or AC. A tower scaffold is erected to safely access the roof.
