Standards, Trade Associations and Accreditation
ISO - International organisation for Standardisation
We currently hold and maintain the following accreditations which are rigorously enforced to ensure our continued compliance and commitment:-


ISO 9001:2008
Is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It provides our company with a set of principles that ensure a common sense approach to the management of our business activities to consistently achieve customer satisfaction.

ISO 14001 : 2004 Is a standard environmental management system which helps companies and organisations such as Aran Services to improve their overall environmental performance. By defining procedures to create awareness and prevention of pollution overall improvement to environmental performance is achieved.


OHSAS 18001: 2007 Is an occupational health and safety assessment standard that assists our company by providing a framework within which we can manage our Health and Safety responsibilities to all.

NIA (National Insulation Association)
The NIA represents the insulation industry in the UK. Both the NIA and its members are fully committed to maintaining and raising standards within the insulation industry.The NIA has a code of professional practice that members agree to follow to ensure that the public receive the highest possible level of customer care and contracts, health and safety, technical training, assessment and installation.

CIGA (Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency)
The Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency provides an independent 25 year guarantee for Cavity Wall Insulation fitted by registered installers in the UK and Channel islands. The Government regards cavity wall insulation as the most effective energy savings measure that most people can carry out on their homes and a major contributor to reducing emissions of carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas.

INCA (The Insulated Renderand Cladding Association)
INCA is the recognised trade association for theexternal wall insulation (EWI) industry, representing the major systemdesigners, a nationwide network of specialist installers and the key componentsuppliers. INCA provides technical advice and installation best practice for EWI to Government, clients and other key stakeholders.

STA (Solar Trade Association)
The Solar Trade Association represents the interests of its member companies, made up of UK based Solar Electricity (PV) and Solar Thermal (solar hot water) companies. We work to promote the uptake of the technologies in domestic, commercial and industrial applications.

Accreditations Aran Services Ltd is accredited to the following certification schemes:
MCS (Micro generation Certification Scheme)
Is the certification body for micro generation technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.MCS is also linked to financial incentives which include Feed in Tariffs. The MCS is a certification scheme which complies with the government criteria for eligibility to access financial incentives.


REIGA (Renewable Energy Installation Guarantee Agency)Has been Established todeal with quality issues and to offer installers and suppliers the ability tomarket to the customer at relatively low cost a level of assurance through theguarantee scheme that will answer the question "what if you are no longeraround”. Reiga is independent and if an installer ceases, amalgamates ordisappears from the customer's horizon and a guarantee has been issued, thecustomer can approach REIGA who will provide a conduit to address these problems.
 
The REAL Assurance Scheme
Set up by the Renewable Energy Association, the aim is to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes. The REAL Assurance Scheme logo is a sign that we have agreed to abide by the high standards set out in our Consumer Code.

CHAS
Is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. CHAS was set up to improve health and safety standards across Great Britain. Being CHAS accredited ensures we meet current health and safety criteria.


BRITISH BOARD OF AGRÉMENT
Since 1966 Agrément Certificates have been providing invaluable information on the performance of new construction products and materials. For only a little less time, the BBA has been running its injected cavity wall insulation approved installer scheme. Aran Services Ltd holds the relevant agrément certificate.
 

CONTRUCTIONLINE
Construction line is the UK largest register of pre-qualified contractors and consultants. In terms of efficiency, time and cost saving and best practice, Contructionline is proven to deliver for public and private sector organizations alike and are recommended by the OGC Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force. Again, Aran Services Ltd holds the appropriate memberships
