Replacement Glazing Builder or Developer Local Authority

15% of a home's heat loss escapes through a home's windows.

All properties lose heat through their windows, but replacing them with energy-efficient glazing keeps your home warmer and quieter as well as reducing your energy bills. In fact, replacing all single-glazed windows with B - rated double glazing could save you around £165 per year on your energy bills.

Older single paned glazing is very energy in efficient. Double glazed units have two sheets of glass with a gap between them, usually about 16mm, to create an insulating barrier that keeps heat in. This is sometimes filled with gas.
Triple-glazed windows have three sheets of glass.

A good window manufacturer, such as those who supply us, show the energy efficiency of their products using an energy rating scheme from A to G - like the one used for appliances such as fridges. The whole window (the frame and the glass) is assessed on its efficiency at retaining heat. The scheme is run by the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC).

At Aran Services we only install windows with a minimum B energy rating.

The frames of the windows come in various materials, styles, openings and locking arrangements to suit your taste and needs.

As members of FENSA (The Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) Aran Services Ltd offers a professional, accredited glazing replacement service. All our installations attract an insurance backed 10 year warranty, offering you peace of mind as part of our service.
