Cavity Insulation for Random Stone Walls
Thousands of 'random stone' properties over the UK can now get cavity wall insulation installed.
Houses built with stone walls may have a cavity BUT these cavities are likely to be unsuitable for standard mineral fibre, cavity wall insulation. This is because standard blown fibre cannot be guaranteed to fill the cavity evenly compared to a standard brick cavity due to the unevenness and 'random' nature of the stone build.
- Have you been told your cavity is unsuitable for insulation in the past?
- Do you live in a flood risk area?
- Occupy or own a random stone built house?
We have the solution...
We recommend either a Bonded Polystyrene Bead material or Polyurethane Foam such as Isothane Technitherm® which provides excellent thermal efficiency. Technitherm® is designed to insulate houses built with stone cavities whilst also providing structural strength to walls and resistance to wind driven rain penetration.
Technitherm® is a market leading insulation material with a 25 year proven track record. It is the only BBA approved cavity wall insulation and stabilisation system suitable for stone built properties. Aran Services is an approved BBA installer with installations that are covered by an insurance backed 25 year guarantee.
